When your solar system generates more energy than you need, you can store the extra energy with Powerwall and save it for later. Powerwall can also recharge from the grid when utility prices are low.
Use Energy
Your stored energy is available whenever you need it—during the day, at night or when an outage occurs. A Powerwall system can power your entire home, including your heater or A/C, as well as other large appliances.
Save and Earn
Using your usage history, weather forecasts and utility price estimates, Powerwall optimizes your stored energy to power your home more efficiently, day and night. With some utilities, you can earn money by selling your energy to the grid.

Now a comment about Jordan
Jordan and his team did an exceptional job with my roof installation. The old roof was completely removed and replaced in a single day, and the crew worked efficiently while maintaining a very professional standard throughout the entire process. The cleanup was outstanding. All of the old roofing materials were picked up, the surrounding area was left neat, and there was no debris left behind on the property. They also upgraded my old roof ventilation system by replacing the old turtle vents with a much more effective ridge line ventilation system that now runs throughout the roof, improving airflow and overall performance. What really set Jordan apart was his follow‑through and attention to detail. After the installation, he even came back to inspect everything again and discovered leaks that were occurring in my rain gutters, helping to identify and address an issue that could have caused problems down the road. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and would highly recommend Jordan for any roofing project.

1Solar has been great to, work with and is always available to answer questions. Shout out to Connor Child, he made sure we had everything we needed and was quick to explain any delays or changes (do to the power company). He has been available for all questions; even after installation.

I was told repeatedly that my system could not do who house back up which is what I wanted but that would have been way more etc. I was told over and over that I had to choose up to 12 circuits to put on my house. Then one day they said you're all set your system is done and I was baffled because I never identified any of the circuits I wanted on battery and it turns out they just picked random circuits which was like a handful of bedroom outlets and literally not one single important circuit like my furnace or kitchen fridge and freezer etc ... So weeks later they came out and the tech whom had never been by prior, said it was weird that they ran 60 amp wire for the inverter etc and that is why only 12 circuits could be selected... I said yeah they told me in the first meeting about install this inverter could not handle whole house or more than 12. He looked baffled and said "nah that's not right at all they just needed to run the different wire and it could easily accommodate more" and my inverter and batteries could easily have handled more. I asked if that was still a possibility and he said well it is not it would basically require all the work to be undone and redone...
End of the day, all the critical systems work on the battery set up, and when the power cuts I'm covered for my needs but I'm a little annoyed I was told repeatedly "nope your system can't be on more than 12 circuits" but then later found out from a very competent and great installation guy that was all nonsense and I could have had way more house coverage... Really bummed about that and I definitely will want someone to redo it but I don't have the cash to do it now. I will likely try to find someone else to do that for me though and get it set up for my needs and wants. This is the most disappointing thing of the whole process.
Like the sales guy, and a couple of the install guys, price wasn't terrible, the system works great. Didn't love the lack of communication. Did not love the fact I was told it was impossible to have more than 12 circuits covered when that was apparently not true. And didn't love I had to call them over and over to get guys to fix stuff they previously did because it wasn't done right.
