Now a comment about Jordan
Jordan and his team did an exceptional job with my roof installation. The old roof was completely removed and replaced in a single day, and the crew worked efficiently while maintaining a very professional standard throughout the entire process. The cleanup was outstanding. All of the old roofing materials were picked up, the surrounding area was left neat, and there was no debris left behind on the property. They also upgraded my old roof ventilation system by replacing the old turtle vents with a much more effective ridge line ventilation system that now runs throughout the roof, improving airflow and overall performance. What really set Jordan apart was his follow‑through and attention to detail. After the installation, he even came back to inspect everything again and discovered leaks that were occurring in my rain gutters, helping to identify and address an issue that could have caused problems down the road. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and would highly recommend Jordan for any roofing project.

1Solar has been great to, work with and is always available to answer questions. Shout out to Connor Child, he made sure we had everything we needed and was quick to explain any delays or changes (do to the power company). He has been available for all questions; even after installation.

I was told repeatedly that my system could not do who house back up which is what I wanted but that would have been way more etc. I was told over and over that I had to choose up to 12 circuits to put on my house. Then one day they said you're all set your system is done and I was baffled because I never identified any of the circuits I wanted on battery and it turns out they just picked random circuits which was like a handful of bedroom outlets and literally not one single important circuit like my furnace or kitchen fridge and freezer etc ... So weeks later they came out and the tech whom had never been by prior, said it was weird that they ran 60 amp wire for the inverter etc and that is why only 12 circuits could be selected... I said yeah they told me in the first meeting about install this inverter could not handle whole house or more than 12. He looked baffled and said "nah that's not right at all they just needed to run the different wire and it could easily accommodate more" and my inverter and batteries could easily have handled more. I asked if that was still a possibility and he said well it is not it would basically require all the work to be undone and redone...
End of the day, all the critical systems work on the battery set up, and when the power cuts I'm covered for my needs but I'm a little annoyed I was told repeatedly "nope your system can't be on more than 12 circuits" but then later found out from a very competent and great installation guy that was all nonsense and I could have had way more house coverage... Really bummed about that and I definitely will want someone to redo it but I don't have the cash to do it now. I will likely try to find someone else to do that for me though and get it set up for my needs and wants. This is the most disappointing thing of the whole process.
Like the sales guy, and a couple of the install guys, price wasn't terrible, the system works great. Didn't love the lack of communication. Did not love the fact I was told it was impossible to have more than 12 circuits covered when that was apparently not true. And didn't love I had to call them over and over to get guys to fix stuff they previously did because it wasn't done right.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
1. How is 1Home different from hiring seperate contractors for each project?
We design and coordinate your home systems together instead of in silos, which reduces rework, scheduling conflicts, and cost overlap. You get an accountable team and a plan built around long-term performance, not isolated installs.
2. How do I know which upgrades my home actually needs first?
We start with a comprehensive home assessment that prioritizes improvements based on impact, cost efficiency, and ROI. You receive a ranked plan so you can make decisions strategically rather than guessing.
3. Will I be pressured into buying multiple services at once?
No. You choose the pace. Our role is to show the financial and performance implications of each option so you can decide whether to phase projects or combine them for efficiency.
4. What kind of disruption should I expect during projects?
Coordinated scheduling minimizes downtime and prevents multiple trades from repeatedly opening walls, roofs, or systems. You can receive a clear timeline and a single point of communication.
5. Who do I call if something isn't working later on?
You cantact 1Home. We manage support across the systems we install so you don’t have to track down individual contractors or manufacturers.
6. If I stare at my utility bills long enough, will they eventually go down on their own?
We respect optimism. Unfortunately, bills rarely respond to eye contact. Strategic upgrades, system coordination, and efficiency improvements tend to be more reliable methods. We’re happy to help with those.
